The world of technology has entered a new domain ever since Apple has introduced the surface technology gadgets. These include the I-phone and I-pad. I-pad, which is no doubt a technological leap forward compared to all the other surface technologies, is a multi-touch display device which can accommodate entire books, periodicals and movies. The third generation I-pad may be very similar to the I-pad 2 in shape and size but it offers a better retina display because of its extremely high resolution. The third generation I-pad provides a dual core processor A5X with graphics that are quad-core and an astounding retina display that is surely a revolution as it provides resolution of 2048×1536 pixels.

So when the I-pad market was booming with success, Apple decided to launch the third generation I-pad which was released on March 7, 2012.
The third generation I-pad is in accordance with Apple’s new policy that all new products have to be thinner and lighter. To put it simply it is much slicker than the I-pad 2. With 3.1 million pixels packed in the third generation I-pad, Apple has surely addressed concerns of the graphics lacking in the previous versions. It is able to do so as it has the X-factor in the A5X processor which is its quad-core graphics engine.
The third generation I-pad is able to run programs only specified by Apple and is solely available at the Apple App Store.
