LG Optimus L7 is latest addition to Android smartphone series of LG in India. It has been out in the market for quite a long time and user reviews are not up to the mark. Owners are already complaining about being overpriced device which doesn’t have even dual core processor. It is quite simple logic and droid owners today expect at least a dual core processor while paying 19k. When we had the first look at it, we felt it out in the same way.

LG Optimus L7 sports 4.3 inches LCD IPS display and features a resolution of 800×480 pixels with 16M colors. It runs on Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich. Eh…quite disappointing! isn’t it? We at least do expect to get Android 4.1 jelly bean on it which is bit doubtful. Reason? It runs on 1GHz cortex A9 adreno 200 processor which is old. The RAM is not quite impressive enough with 512MB and this increases the doubt in our mind. It has to deliver all the basic networking and connectivity features. So, it definitely has GPRS, 3G, WiFi, USB connectivity. Bluetooth version is slightly update to v3 but won’t really matter. Overall, hardware is pretty outdated and we doubt why would anybody pay 20k bucks and purchase a single core processor Android smartphone!Hardware:

LG Optimus L7 runs on Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich on top of which lies Optimus 3.0 user interface. Optimus 3.0 user interface is not that great and features some basic functions. If you are migrating from Samsung or HTC Android smartphone then you will experience big difference in terms of user interface. Music player supports various formats such as MP3, MIDI and WAV. This device comes with pre-installed apps which includes WiFi Direct, On-line widget supports and Google apps like Search, Gmail.Software:
