How to Upgrade Galaxy S2 [GT-I9100] to ICS

This is a post for the Samsung Galaxy S2[GT-I9100] users to help them to upgrade their phone to latest android version ICS. It so simple that what u need to do is to have a good internet connection and a little patience.


STEPS-
  1.  Install Samsung Kies PC in ur PC. You can download it from the link in download section of this post.
  2. After installing kies sign in to kies using ur Samsung account.[ if asked]
  3. Backup all ur content using kies. [When i upgraded my s2 to ics. no content were erased].
  4. Then go to the basic information section in top middle part of kies and see the firmware information.
  5. click update button in this part.
  6. Done.!! It takes few minutes to download the firmware. If any confirmation box comes in ur phone confirm it by pressing accept.
