There are so many hackers are there which are hacking blogs very day and if yourWordPress blog got hacked by them then how to recover it ? This will be the question in your mind . I have the answer . I will tell you how to recover a hacked WordPress blog .
Mostly hackers infects your index.php file due to which your home page shows some message like ” This Blog is Hacked ” after breaking your security and also they changes your password ,So what to do in this case .
1. Go to your blog’s cpanel and log in their by your ftp user name and password .
2. Now first we have to change the user name and password of the WordPress ,so that hackers can’t access your blog further .You can do this by using phpMyAdmin . If you want to know how to change WordPress Password then read this How To Change WordPress Password .
2 . After resetting the user name and password ( a good strength password ) now we have to remove infected file from the cpanel .For that just go to ” File Manger “ given on the home page of cpanel under “Files “category as shown below and open it and again click on go .
3 . After that a new window will open having a list of things there ,
search for index.php file and delete it by right clicking on it and
select delete as shown below .
4. After deleting it you have to upload a fresh index.php file there and you can get index.php by downloading the latest WordPress version from wordpress.org and
then extract it and you will find their index.php file .So upload this
file there by clicking upload button given at the top in cpanel .
5. After that open wp-content again you will find their another index.php file . You have to perform the above step there also .Delete it and again upload fresh index.php .
6. Now check your blog ,it will be recovered but if you are facing some error then you can also delete your theme and upload a fresh theme .
So I have covered all the ways by which you can recover your hacked blog . If your WordPress blog got hacked that follow the above given steps and recover it .
